Forgery of two cheques cashed at the Shikarpur(sukkur) and Sibi Treasuries. Treasury Offices concerned censured for gross carelessness in the payment of the cheques. Rejection of the claim of the Bombay Government that the Government of India should bear the value of the forged cheque cashed at the Shikarpur Treasury. Addition of certain rules to the Civil Account Code as a safeguard against such frauds in future.
