Decision that cheques on all banks (provided that they can local banks) shouold be accepted in payment of Government does irrespective of whether a Bank has a dealing account with the Imperial / Reserve Bank of India or not, subject however to the other restrictions laid down in article 6 of the Civil Account Code, Vol I, of Rule 79 of the non Treasury Rules.
