Manufacture of Salt - Considering that, until the experiments in the Bombay methods of Salt manufacture are completed and a final decision on the question of introducing them into this Presidency is arrived at, the concession asked for by the licenses of the factories of the Merkanam and Cheyar Circles for allowing the Salt to dry in the ridges for ten days cannot be granted.
