Interpretation put on the orders of the Home Government in regard to the pay to be assigned to the Assistant at Head-quarters to the Genereral Superintendent of Operations for the Suppression of Thagi and Dakaiti. Salary passed to Mr. H.C. for the period he acted as Assistant to teh General Suprintendent during the absence of the permanent incumbent of the appointmetn.
