Supply of sample chests of provision opium of 91 degree consistency to the Governments of the countries who buy opium from India under the system of direct sales with a view to substitute in future opium of higher consistency for that of 71 degree at present supplied to them. Proposal to offer opium of higher consistency at the opium sales in Calcutta rejected.
