Decision that Audit Offiers or Heads of Offices who make deductions of income-tax from the salaries of Government officers, need not carry out the check to see whether the allowances claimed on account of insurance premia etc,. under section 12(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1918 exceed one-sixth limit of the salaries of the officers concerned.
