Proposal made by the Auditor General to extend the provisions of para. 3 of Rule 9 of the General Provident Fund Rules to subscribers (gazetted Officers) who spend their leave in India; also to modify rule 8 of the Fund Rules, in order to alter the provision allowing subscribers (non-gazetted) to subscribe at half rate during leave on half average pay.
