Question that when the General Provident Fund rules are re-written as Statutory rules, it should be considered whether the restrictions in the Finance Department letter No.1309 F.E, dated the 24th November 1916, should be imposed in their entirety in the matter of granting advances from the General provident Fund, particularly that relating to advances for a passage overseas.
