Interest on Government Papers held jointly by two or more persons not to be paid to one of the holders unless he can produce written authority to give a receipt for all of them. Exemption from stamp-duty of letters of authority or powers of attorney, authorising one or more of the joint holders of a Government Security to give, on behalf of such joint holders, a discharge for interest payable on such security or on any renewed security issued in lieu thereof.
