Rejection of the proposal to accept the offer of the Tehri Garhwal Durbar to advance a sum of 2,75,000 to the Keonthal State at 4 per cent. interest to liquidate the Raja`s debts on the condition that Government guarantee the punctual repayment of the instalments of capital and interest. Offer however of the Government of India to give an assurance to the Tehri Garhwal Darbar that it will use its good offices to secure repayment.
