Forwards copy of letter, dated 24th Ultimo, from Brigadier Younghusband, C. B., reporting on the condition of the corps under the command of Major McDonald, on the occasion of his visit to Deoli; recommends Brigadier Younghusband`s suggestion that, instead of increasing the pay of all ranks in the Cavalry to Rupees 2 a month, a further gratuity of Rupees 2,500 or 2,750 be made to the Chunda Fund.
