Enquiry by the United States Ambassador whether Mr. Herman Lorey, a United States citizen of German origin, may enter India. Question of tightening up the arrangements at present in force whereby American Missionaries, who are certified to be such by certain American Consulates, are permitted to land at Bombay without Speical landing permits.
