Petition for mercy from Labhu under sentence of death in the Lyallpur Jail. Punjab Govt. informed that the Government of India`s telegraphic orders on petitions for mercy from prisoners under sentence of death are repeated to the Superintendent of the Jail only when time is pressing, or a local Government specially desires it.
