Adverting to his No. 5587, dated 17th October 1867, and to No.2756, dated 25th July 1867, annexes copy of a letter from the Officiating Judicial Commissioner expressing his views in regard to the jurisdiction which the European Assistant Superintendent should exercise in Coorg, and submits observations on the subject.
